Survive five minutes of night as a lantern wizard against a swarm.
Swarm Survivor is a five-minute fight for survival in a mossy field at night. You steer a small wizard and nothing else: the lantern fires magic bolts at the nearest foe by itself. Slimes, wobbling bats, heavy brutes and orb-spitting pods close in from the dark, and every foe you defeat drops a gem. Fill the XP bar to level up, and the action pauses while you choose one of three upgrade cards.
Eleven upgrades stack to level 5 each, from moon blades that circle you and a pulse nova to chain lightning, critical hits, speed and a stronger magnet, so every run builds differently. Thornback, an elite brute, charges in at 2:30 and the Gloom King arrives at 4:30. Losing all your health ends the run; lasting until 5:00 earns a 2,000 point bonus. Tip: run in wide loops so the swarm trails behind you, then sweep back for the gems.
How to play Swarm Survivor
- 1Touch or mouse: press anywhere and drag to steer with the floating joystick.
- 2Keyboard: move with WASD or the arrow keys, and press 1, 2 or 3 to pick an upgrade card.
- 3Your lantern fires on its own; collect gems to level up and choose one of three upgrades.
- 4Score 10 points per kill and 5 per second survived, plus 2,000 for lasting until 5:00.
- 5Touching foes or their orbs costs health, and the run ends when your health runs out.
