Steer a glowing snake, chain orb combos and survive faster levels.
Neon Snake is a modern take on the classic snake game, played on a dark glowing grid. You steer the snake one cell at a time and eat pink energy orbs to grow. Each orb scores one point times your combo: reach the next orb before the ring beside your head runs out and the combo climbs, up to x8. A golden orb appears now and then for six seconds and is worth 5 points.
Every 10 pink orbs starts a new level: the snake speeds up and, up to level 9, a mirrored pattern of wall blocks appears, never right in front of you. Two power-ups help, each for five seconds: Phase lets you pass through your own tail and Slow-mo halves your speed. Hitting the border, a block or your tail ends the run. Tip: take short paths to keep the combo alive, but always leave yourself an open lane.
How to play Neon Snake
- 1Swipe anywhere, or use the arrow keys or W A S D, to turn; two quick turns in a row are remembered.
- 2Eat pink orbs for 1 point times your combo; reach the next orb before the ring by your head empties to raise the combo, up to x8.
- 3Golden orbs give 5 points before their ring runs out; the Phase and Slow-mo power-ups last 5 seconds.
- 4Every 10 pink orbs starts a new level: the snake gets faster and, up to level 9, new wall blocks appear.
- 5Hitting the border, a wall block or your own tail ends the run.
