About Solitaire

Sort the deck into four suits, ace to king. Every deal can be won.

Solitaire is classic Klondike, turning one card from the stock at a time. Seven columns are dealt with only their top cards face up. Build the columns down in alternating red and black, move whole face-up runs between them, and put a king in any empty column. The goal is to carry all 52 cards to the four suit piles, from ace to king. A run ends when you win or when you give up with New game.

Every deal is checked by a solver before it is dealt, so each game can be won. Unlimited undo, a hint button and an auto finish keep things moving, and the game tells you when no moves are left. Points come from turning cards over and sending them home, and a fast win adds a large time bonus. Tip: turn over face-down cards first, and empty a column only when a king can fill it.

How to play Solitaire

  1. 1Drag a card or a face-up run to move it, or tap a card to send it to the best place.
  2. 2Tap the stock to turn one card; when it is empty, tap it again to turn the waste back over.
  3. 3Keyboard: arrows and Space pick up and drop cards, D draws, U undoes, H shows a hint, A auto-finishes, N twice gives up.
  4. 4Score 5 for each card turned over or played from the waste to a column and 10 for each card sent to a suit pile; taking one back costs 15, and a win after 30 seconds adds 700,000 divided by your seconds.
  5. 5Moving all 52 cards to the suit piles wins; tapping New twice gives up and ends the run.

Your best score is saved on this device.
